Move!


Smart devices have taken over and we have just scratched the surface.  Smart phones were once the hot new piece of tech everyone coveted.  Now, wearables seem to be all the rage.  Technology continues to improve our productivity and make life easier, or so we think.  However, technology cannot make us move or eat healthy.  As technology continues to improve our lives, we must not allow our reliance on technology to make us to become sedentary!  Obesity rates continue to climb throughout the United States.  The CDC reports so far in 2019 that obesity rates in America are the highest ever documented, showing that over 39 percent of the adult population are obese and over 18 percent of our nations children also are considered obese.  These statistics should be a wake up call!  Move more!

In todayโ€™s fast paced society we need to focus on what matters most, our health!  After all, if our health fails, we have no quality of life.  Life should be fun, life should be lived to its fullest potential and we should all age gracefully.  If you want to stay healthy you must use your tech to improve your health, not just to look cool.   Donโ€™t just wear the smart watch because you want to be in vogue.  Wear the smart watch and track your activity.  Use your apps to track your workouts.  Get outside and move, no matter how hot or cold.  Your body can withstand more rigorous activity than we give it credit for, just ask an ultra endurance athlete.  Do more today than you did yesterday.
